This week Owen's sister came to visit, giving us a good excuse to do lots of fun things. However, floating on tubes (see sweet pic of us above) seemed to take up most of our free time. 

Hope everyone else is soaking up the last of summer too, can you believe its almost September?

Sometimes its hard to remember that (most of the time) the reason things are the way they are is because of decisions YOU made. Its easy to blame it on the circumstances around you or on unlucky things that may have occurred, but everyday you make decisions that either bring you closer to your goals or don't.

I tend to do this, and I want to start remembering that I have the power to either get to where I want to be, or not. Because no one else will do it for you!

 

Beaching It Up

This summer has been a great time for hanging at the beach. With so many to choose from around here, we've been checking out a ton on our days off and loving it! Tubes to float on, a cooler of beer and snacks, and a volleyball are a must. I think making the most of your days off helps you get through your work week easily.

Still loving this dress I got from a thrift store in Burlington, VT last spring. It's super comfy and easy to pull on, and the white isn't too see-through. Perfect outfit to wear to the beach today!
