Safari Chic

Dress: Thrifted Sandals: Target Necklace: Gift Bracelet: Farmer's Market crafter

Still loving this dress I got from a thrift store in Burlington, VT last spring. It's super comfy and easy to pull on, and the white isn't too see-through. Perfect outfit to wear to the beach today!

Dumbledore Knows All

In honor of the last Harry Potter move coming out (*tear*), here is something to ponder from the ever wise and extremely long-bearded Albus Dumbledore.

Don't make fun, I know all of you can't wait for it either.

Five Things

There are five things that are making this morning a quite terrific morning today, and they go as follows:

1. My boyfriend, and the fact that he left me a delicious dinner in the fridge for when I came home from work at eleven last night. Whatta guy.

2. My morning latte. Of course.

3. That I dragged my lazy butt out of bed this morning and went for a run before work. Great start to the day!

4. That my sister is starting grad school in Georgia this week and is going to have an awesome time!

5. My awesome mom sent me a copy of a great budgeting book so I can get my behind into gear with my finances.  Watch out world, "Rich Kristin" is coming!
(Or at the very least, "Able To Pay Her Bills Kristin")

Happy Friday everyone!

Mini Golf + Beach + Beer = A Great Summer Afternoon

We are still having fun exploring our new area. Yesterday afternoon we beached it up for a while and then went for a 24 oz. beer at the Char Pit. Dee-lish. We then found a fanta-bu-lous mini golf course with 36 (Yes! 36!) holes and lots of challenges like swinging logs. You could also pick super sweet golf balls like my zebra one above. The man beat me, but only by a little. We then made some dinner and headed to his softball game, where his team kicked butt and I ate a lot of candy on the bench and socialized. Pretty good day off!

I Love 4th of July Weekend

Don't you love 4th of July? It's just so summery and fun. And although I am working through the weekend, I will still have time to hit some fireworks and log in some pool time. I am going to miss my hometown lineup of barbecues, parties, and family though! Hope everyone has a great one!

I also will be trying out this pretzel jello salad thingy-mo-bobber. I have heard from multiple sources it is the "best thing ever." If you want to try it too, find the recipe here!
